British Cochlear Implant Group

Submissions

'Many thanks to all those who submitted papers to the conference. We had well over 50 submissions of a very high standard and we look forward to hearing those that were selected for oral presentations and reading those that were selected as poster presentations.

The posters should be A0 size and in portrait style. They should be set up well before 11am on Thursday 15th March as they will be displayed in the main hall. They may be taken down during the 15:00 coffee break on the 16th March. There will be a prize for the best poster presentation which has been generously donated by Cochlear UK. This is a visit to one of the courses run at the Cochlear Academy and includes £375 of travel expenses. The selection of the winner will be by the delegates at the meeting and the prize will be awarded at the end of the meeting.

With regards to oral presentations, we would be very grateful if they could be submitted on line to enquiries@BCIG2012.co.uk by Thursday 8th March. This will give us plenty of time to upload the presentations and make sure that they run correctly. They should be created in Powerpoint or another compatible software. It will not be possible for speakers to present directly from their own laptops. The authors of the free papers will have the chance to publish the results of their presentations in a supplement of Cochlear Implants International if they so wish.
